About us

Negha dágondíh

It’s how to say Hi in our part of Mother Earth! Your hosts in this adventure, the Cazon family, are direct descendants of the Dene guide who helped Alexander MacKenzie down the MacKenzie River in 1789.

No, we’re not going to talk about residential schools or any of our problems with land claims! Believe it or not, we are real fun-loving friendly people who want to introduce you to our culture, our relationship with Mother Earth and share some of our knowledge with you. You will enjoy a real Dene cultural experience and will remember it for a long time.

And who are we to tell you all this? Just true Canadians who has spent a lot of time working with Inuit, Mohawks, Cree and now Dene and having a wonderful time doing it. So follow in our
footsteps.

We offer your our warmest welcome!
